Garment alterations

All our hire garments are altered to fit and we also undertake alterations to our customers' own garments. In most instances we will dry-clean the garments first in our own machine to adhere to hygiene regulations and our own stringent guidelines.

Specially made accessories

Our skilled seamstresses make many of the accessories needed to achieve co-ordination perfection.

Cravats, ruche ties, bows and handkerchiefs are just some of the items we can make if we or the customer are able to source fabric to match the bridesmaids’ dresses. Ask us to work out the amount of fabric needed and the cost.

Prices start from as little as £2.50 for a false handkerchief if perhaps the ushers are not having buttonholes. One shouldn’t really wear both a handkerchief and flower but a discrete single flower and a square is acceptable. Please allow enough time during the busy wedding season to avoid being disappointed.

Repairs and other work

The cost of many repairs can only be determined once garment seams have been unpicked to see the extent of the work involved. Only then can a price be estimated and the final price given on completion. Such work may not be possible at all but if it is, it’s chargeable at a highly competitive hourly rate.
